Our Story

Hi, we are Kendall and Tayla, the co-founders of Our Mind Space Psychology. We are Clinical Psychologists with a shared passion for supporting adults with ADHD.

The story begins when we first crossed paths during our Masters of Clinical Psychology degree at the University of Wollongong, where we discovered our mutual enthusiasm for helping adults thrive in both individual and group settings.

Recognising a significant gap in treatment options for adult ADHD - especially in group therapy  we set out to create something special. In 2019, we began designing a group therapy program tailored to adults living with ADHD, and by 2020 the group had launched with its first delivery at the University of Wollongong training clinic during our clinical masters.

The response was overwhelmingly positive. Participants were eager for a program that was educational, therapeutic and supportive. The group offered a safe space to connect with others, practice new skills and gain encouragement from peers - all while being a cost-effective alternative to individual therapy and a treatment option that helps individuals avoid the long waitlists.

Then came 2020’s curveball: COVID-19. Determined to not lose momentum, we transitioned the program to telehealth during the first lockdown. The success of Doing ADHD Differently - both online and in person -

cemented our belief in its value.

Inspired by the impact the group had on participants, we knew we had to share it with the

broader community. And so we founded Our Mind Space Psychology to bring

Doing ADHD Differently to adults across Australia. Today, we offer our program via telehealth.

At Our Mind Space Psychology, we’ve created a space that’s both yours and ours -

a place for connection, growth, and community.

We can't wait to meet you,

Kendall & Tayla
